Description

St. Martha’s Convent Yakkara inaugurated and blessed by His Excellency Mar. Jacob Manathodath on 11.2.2000. We started a stitching centre . They stitch cassocks for priests, alter and other pious cloths, and articles, vestments etc. Many girls are engaged in stitching and earn their livelihood. Sisters assist in parish ministry, catechism and family unit prayers. We have a ladies hostel with 15 students who are going near by colleges.
