Maria Gorethy convent is blessed by 2nd October 1963 by Mar Joseph Irimpen Bishop of Palakkad diocese. Sisters doing pastoral work, host making , Catechism, Family visit and running a hostel for women. Sehion Retreat Centre is near the convent and sisters doing service in retreat centre also.
