Bethany Aged home Kolengattukara proposed is dedicated for the rehabilitation of poor, abandoned, aged mothers of the area this land donated by Mr. Kurian Such an institution for the destitute is the long cherished desire of the local people in kolengattukara and nearby villages. Due to the forced and repeated request of the good willed people and the suffering victims we planned to dedicate “ Betheny” a happy home for the aged to spend their remaining days peacefully. Its Foundation stone laid on 2003 and the Inauguration and blessing by Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy on 2004 February 7th. 30 Old Mothers lived here now. At present the institution runs with the help of local people and generous minded merchants in the locality.
